Chapter Philanthropy

Our chapter locally focuses on supporting The Fundamental Learning Center.  This is an organization that helps children with reading disabilities.

The Kappa Olympics was first introduced in fall 2014, and it was an instant success. Eleven fraternities and sororities at Wichita State came and supported The Fundamental Learning Center by coming out to play Field Day style games and donate books. Games included potato sack races, egg walks, hula hoop activities and much more. These games led up to the final round where two teams competed to win the overall Kappa Olympics with a game of Tennis Buckets. 

Eta Upsilon hosts our food philanthropy, Custard with Kappa, every spring.  This event helps us raise funds that we divide between our national philanthropy, Reading is Fundamental and the Fundamental Learning Center.
